I'm definitely getting lego for Christmas, it's a secret Santa ,the budget is 20 Euro and I'm like a kid wanting to open them, I've also been doing advent calendars -2017 & 2018 city ,1 from each every other day so it'll last til 2nd week of January

Santa (myself) got me the 5004419 Classic Knights Minifigure (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=5004419-1) commemorative set.

It is an updated version of the 6012 Siege Cart (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=6012-1) which I've fond memories of and comes with a cool booklet.

Also got 101 grey 3009 bricks!

Built a secret Santa present of 60231 ,freya mccloud -fire chief with no helmet or breathing apparatus, I'm a 6wide fan but this is overly massive with no doors ,and ladder so high it'd need a ladder to get it .it was on my wanted list but it's definitely a kid toy .my only positive was how roof is held up by a 2x1 hinge plate ,oh and the new axe.has a parts wasting  so saved a few by not using them.my enjoyment was building from pictures of occasional glances at manual, big pick-up but I can't big it up for an adult collection

My 8 year old was given 42098 Car Transporter by his uncle as a birthmas present ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Actually so glad that I donโ€™t like a technic or I would be soooo jealous!!

The technic set would be my go to, just had to see Your B.S. name, I say I won't do it next year but I will, some gifting isn't as good as others, but it's nice to receive

I got the hidden side haunted high school, 70425.  Really enjoyed building which I only got to do yesterday. Haven't got the app to it yet but it was a fun build with lots of hidden features. Was away for a couple of weeks with no mobile reception and no where to put my Lego but it was worth the wait :)

Privet Drive was a present I'd been putting off building and the calendars were my monthly build ,but I did tell my Wife just pick one from the PILE ,and this was it. I'm modifying it -slightly more depth and the staircase will be as it is in the movie

Due to extension ,parts overuse mean roofing isn't finished ,6  needed but 42 will take it higher

As with the modification I never have the pieces I actually need, people that dump lego must not be in tune with me

Building by box art and turning 5-6 pages instead of  1 by 1, led me to placing reg plate on 2nd 1x2 black tile as opposed to the 1x4 plate on boot lid of Weasleys anglia , at least it could take 4 figs on non-bendy legs ( hope twins are in next year's advent calendar).

1-1-23 can only mean a late Christmas present but in reality it's my 1 set per month build. 76398 hospital wing a really great set and an iconic scene for a few movies. This is the prisoner of Azkaban one but Harry or Hermione from others could be posed too! I built using box art and skipping many pages. It felt like lego of old and better than the piece by piece pages of today.a great build with the clock mechanism to assemble too. Pity a spare cast and the baby skull went icluded,I'm a pessimist by nature sorry!
