Sounds like fun Lisa.
-
Time to melt down all the friends lego and put em to good use
-
One more rule should be.
Creation should be new, not previously posted online :)
I made in the past, can I add it?
Just a joke. I try do new one.
-
One more rule should be.
Creation should be new, not previously posted online :) ...
I think that’s fair
One question Lisa, can we use non Lego elements too? I was thinking of string or chain to attach the Lego to
-
Controversial!
Maybe if the jewellery itself is one single Lego construction, then you can use string to tie it around yourself, but I don't think you should allow string where the string would hold multiple pieces of loose Lego together.
Of course there's always official Lego string, anything goes with that :D
-
I haven't seen then 24 carat gold string ... I must have a look on bricklink ;)
-
Lego only doesn't lend to comfortable but initially it was loved ,made from my increasing bin lego pile
-
One for the boys ,although as good as technic is it's not trampolineable, mainly technic pins and connections and Lloyds wheels ,again courtesy of binlego
-
More brick orientated but still technic holding it together, jumper plates giving the offset but holding fairly tight. Not a complete loop as it squeezes more like a bangle than bracelet
-
Great entries so far John!!
@wallyjarek - Previous builds are okay - but a competition is always a good excuse to build something new!!
@Patrick - Using a string is okay if it's holding something made out of Lego!!
-
Looking good John! Mine will have to wait until after the parade. Which reminds me, do you have cabs, 6 wide, that will pull 5 or 6 trailers in your bin LEGO?!?! I think my floats might have to have horses attached!!
-
Parade didn't get the go ahead for today... so 17th it'll be! There's 4 sweet boxes of John Snow lego ,but a great master builder would do well to cobble together anything from all the themes that those bricks originated. My minifig collection status counts over 600 ,but that's a parade for when I'm retired
-
Romance for ard eads ,choose between a Glasgow kiss or this . It's equally as comfortable as walking in it ,and if no-one else makes some jewellery this may be called into action
-
Just handed in my notice, jewellery maker type person ,don't know who my market is but I'll follow my dream(or nightmare)?
-
My Wife prefers Her Pandora charms but my Daughter has been converted back to the dark side with uncomfortable jewellery
-
The not so prescious, it's a good fit for my forefinger,
-
I don't want to win the jewellery box and the knuckle duster isn't broken up yet so C'MON make some jewellery!!!!
-
John I really do think you have a talent for jewellery!
-
No just a very obedient boy when it comes to building lego ....as regards clearing it away ..well not so obedient!
-
This is my last piece , didn't want a foot photo but it's more an anklet, made from rescued legs from my nephews mishmash
-
That's my favourite! I might yet enter this competition but I don't see how it can be possible to top an anklet made of legs :D :D :D
-
Do like my nephew did and pull out the hands and rip off the arms , the guys in Nam didn't see this much carnage! If I had more gold parts combined with trans coloured parts some actually nice jewellery could be fashioned
-
RING :)

Sparkler and looks smooth and comfortable and easy to size ,great job
-
I'm going to have to do this one digitally. Can you use colours which are unavailable for a particular piece?
Thanks!
-
if it can be made ,make it, but don't be hung up on colour unless you're going into the jewellery business too!
-
Ladybird bracelet and watch
-
Really nice
-
Thank you :)
-
Watch looks very pro.ladybird looks Dots style! connections look like they could withstand a trampolineing
-
Thanks John.
We recently got a ladybird minifig which inspired the bracelet.
-
Is that digital ,or did you brickit? Trying to deconstruct it to see what pieces and the connection ,also looking to see if it's an easy open
-
It’s digital. I used the 1x2 rounded plates. It was tricky to get the angles right.
-
Great entries everybody. Had some fun with this tonight. Mine are more aimed at children (or adults with small wrists!) :D

Dark jewellery ,printed tiles are a great finish , unlike stickers -even if put on perfectly look dodgy. A piratey theme or ancient artifact feel, Noice job
-
Great work, David. The Guns n Roses bracelet is my favourite one.
-
Thanks all!
After showing my 6 year old your cool entries (and the prize :D) she wanted to build her own entry to be in with a chance to win (if that's allowed) and so here I present "The Sparkle Moon Bracelet"
