Title: Hungry for some monosodium? Chinese restaurant
Post by: David on December 20, 2017, 09:57 pm
This moc (built ~ 2010) is of a little Chinese restaurant and neighbouring stores. It was built long before the rice brick (http://www.lapetitebrique.com/7159-11195-thickbox/lego-accessories-minifigure-chinese-rice-box-white.jpg) which would have been useful at the time. The buildings were somewhat of an experimentation with indoor lighting. Not the best quality photos but probably better than the food.

I found that the white LED light's cold colour could be improved by using Quality Street wrappers... another good reason to eat the sweets.

Nice build  guy in brown jacket or stripey top behind him might be assassins  and with all the extra Batman's from the movie sets he must make a rooftop appearance

They do look kinda suspicious I suppose. Odd considering they are real classic era figures with basic prints. Guess looking innocent nowadays looks suspicious.
