Title: Show us your collection
Post by: Ciaran on January 22, 2018, 10:49 am
Here is mine, it's reduced by at least 50% as I sold a lots of sets over the last 6 months - I was never going to get the time to build and they were taking too way to much space.

I'd love to see yours, be it on the likes of Brickset or normal photos.

Nice idea Ciaran.

Taken from the introduction pages, here are the Brickset collections for underthetree (https://brickset.com/sets/ownedby-UnderTheTree) and my own (https://brickset.com/sets/ownedby-David-D).

Well out of date but it's as close to a list as I have.

A good few of these have gone, but have being replaced by as many or more since.

I think I last updated this about 18 months ago

Call me dumb but does anybody know how to post a link to my Rebrickable profile or to my set lists on Rebrickable?

A couple of years ago when I started back into Lego, I found Rebrickable to me of more use to me than Brickset so I didn't bother with a Brickset account!

Thanks, Philip

There must be an anti Lug out there ,I don't have a large amount and my Wife is getting annoyed (doesn't understand my love of Lego or what I get out of building) by how much space it takes up   so You guys must be in trouble

I have to hide mine from my wife or get the kids to buy it 😜

I never setup a 'owned-by' on brickset, I rather keep it all an excel spreadsheet with the price I paid and the RRP, mind you it's getting pretty big already.

I'd rather not think about how much I've spent on Lego..........

Probably some early sets missing but my list (https://brickset.com/sets/ownedby-conor/) is fairly up-to-date.

Think of it as an investment - that's what I tell my wife!

wow, I envy you folks ability to keep on top of things like that!

My list would be mostly star wars and bionicle with the odd creator set thrown in for balance. No idea how many I have, how much it cost or where half of it even is! haha

Here is my collection, its like documenting your addiction. Almost all of the technic sets are built. Most of the other sets are from my childhood and have to be gone through to find missing pieces. Some rainy day fun if I ever stop buying new sets.

I encountered the same problem previously. Brickset do not make it easy to share the link to your collection it seems. So when you are logged in and you see your collection the URL looks like this..

https://brickset.com/sets/mycollection-owned

You'll need to manually change it so it includes your username..

https://brickset.com/sets/ownedby-<insert username here>

@SuperBlu26, assuming SuperBlu26 is your Brickset username, it seems you'll need to change your Brickset settings to allow public viewing of your collection.

your technic collection is amazing and the great thing about technic is kids can get play value even if they dont commit to the build as the construction solid ,my nephew dismantles  all other builds completely ,hasnt twigged the hands come out yet luckily except Technic
