Kinda wanting to power up some of my stuff, so I ordered a bunch of Lego Power Functions stuff and then saw SBRICK, so as a gadget nut I had to have one.

Anyway, it arrived today, still waiting for a bunch of L motors and some stuff to let me turn either Rally Car, Porsche, or Bugatti in to RC.

Will post with my various adventures!

I suppose the rally car would be easiest to power but the other 2 would be the better attraction

Idea is probably Rally Car first as all RC projects seem to be total rebuilds.

Oh jeepers i thought a few parts removed and hey presto, although it gives you a chance to build again(some might not see this as a positive)

Well my second random click around Lego store for Power Functions "stuff" arrived today, so I've now a bunch of bits and probably far too many motors for my own good!

Last night I put the SBrick in to the RC Racer and had great fun chasing the cats with it.  It's interestingly noisy until the motors take off but after that it does seem to have a finer level of control than the standard IR lever based remote (which for my skill seems to be either ON or OFF)
