Couldn't wait and built this last night.  2.5 hours in total.  As is mentioned elsewhere the part count of 962 is misleading as close to 300 of these are blue transparent elements that just get tipped in to the bottle rather than assembled.  In reality it could use a bit more of these if you want a proper seafaring vessel!

Building the ship is pretty straightforward, the thing I found tough was the base of the bottle as it's a LOAD of transparent elements, plates. wedges and blocks, and of course with them all transparent they are a pain in the ass to check everything is aligned.  This is one time where if you're a "pre-sorter" you'll do well.  I was lucky I emptied the bag in to the black based box rather than my normal white build table.

I'm tempted to add the dark red octopus (6086) to attack the ship :)

Have to say lads, this has to be my least favorite Ideas set so far. I was really looking forward to building it but almost gave up when it seemed that the outside of the bottle would not click in to place over the mast of the ship. Persevered though and it did finally come together. Still feel a bit cheated over the piece count ( 300 clear blue knobs, really?) Ah well, still displayed it ;)

I do like this model a lot, and I normally only get Star Wars stuff.
Maybe once I sell my SSD and the Helicarrier I might get it :)

I assume it's the bottle as the octopus probably isn't that fantastic
